Focus on the Family- Lemons Continued

In our last Focus on the Family we talked about the role of the Planter in caregiving, this week we will be going over the “Tosser”.  Instantly this group is one that has a negative feel… to it, the term tossing makes it seem as though something is being thrown out, although this may the initial impression, we need to really take a look at this group…

there is so much more there than most people realize.  You see a Tosser isn’t necessarily throwing their loved ones interest away because of the lack of love or compassion, but in many cases it happens because of a lack in ability.  We all remember having our children get sick even more than that we remember the feeling that there was little that we could do to make the situation any better, helpless would be a great way of describing the situation.

I had an opportunity to meet a young girl a few years back who had spent her entire life being daddy’s girl, much to her shock her father had a stroke and had lost about 40% of his mobility.  Her sense of helplessness was so severe that she was at the brink of denial that her father needed any help or that life had changed for her entire family.  You see a tosser doesn’t throw out the person, but rather the circumstance… If you, a friend or a love one is having difficulties dealing with life’s changes we want you to know you are not alone, we are here to help.  Life changing conditions can take their toll on an entire family if that is the case, we invite you to come in and tell us a little about what is going on, in most cases we find we are able to not only help by providing products and services, but by providing support, send us an email to prayer@bekmedical.com or stop by, we look forward to meeting you…
